ThredUP re-establishes CMO role with new appointment

Online consignment and thrift platform thredUP has appointed Noelle Sadler as its Chief Marketing Officer, the company's first dedicated CMO in nearly five years.

In her new role, Sadler is expected to apply her expertise in ecommerce marketing and merchandising to the secondhand market and attract younger customers to the platform. She will report to thredUP President Anthony Marino, who previously oversaw marketing.

Sadler joins thredUP from online fashion retailer Lulus, where she most recently served as CMO. She previously held several marketing leadership roles at MAC Cosmetics and co-founded Retold Recycling, a subscription-based clothing clean out service.

In February, the company also appointed Seth Levey as its first-ever Public Policy and Sustainability Head.
