TheIndustry.fashion LIVE: Primark experiments with 24-hour store opening

TheIndustry.fashion hit East London's Westfield Stratford today to witness one of Primark's 24-hour temporary store openings.

Primark has extended trading hours in all stores throughout December to cater for the anticipated higher customer demand ahead of the festive season.

11 stores opened for 24 hours from 7am on 2 December right through until closing time on 3 December.

Other Primark stores that remained open overnight included Manchester's Trafford Centre, Bluewater, Lakeside, Sheffield's Meadowhall and Westfield White City.

Primark stores located in retail parks and major shopping centres will trade until 10pm at a minimum, with some stores trading as late as midnight.

All other stores across England will trade until at least 8pm on weekdays until 23 December.
