The White Company to move to new HQ at Television Centre
Premium fashion and lifestyle brand The White Company is to move to a new HQ at the former home of the BBC in White City, West London.
The business has signed up for a 32,000 sq ft space for its 350 staff who are currently based in an office on High Street Kensington.
Chief executive Mary Homer, who joined the business from Topshop earlier this year, said the move was a "significant milestone" for the retailer. "We are delighted to confirm our head office move to this exciting and vibrant destination. This is a significant milestone for the company as we enter our next phase of growth and develop our business internationally," she said.
The BBC retains a presence at Television Centre, which is also home to Soho House and ITV and digital luxury business Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP) recently unveiled its new tech hub, which houses 500 staff, at the development. Once the 14-acre site is complete it will contain 500,000 sq ft of office space and 950 new homes.
