The Walt Disney Company celebrates Pride Month 2020
Disney EMEA are honouring Pride Month 2020 with a range of products across European markets, with donations being made to LGBT+ charities.
The exclusive Rainbow Disney Collection, including t-shirts and other fashion accessories, which will be available in Disney Stores, pending re-openings and online on its' e-commerce site shopDisney.
The products are available across nine markets including the UK, France, Spain, Germany and Italy, with a number of markets recognising Pride Month by making donations to non-profit LGBT+ charities, including Diversity Role Models (UK), Arelas (Spain) and Diversity Munchen (Germany).
Diversity Role Models actively seeks to embed inclusion and empathy in the next generation, with a vision of a world where everyone embraces diversity and can thrive. The company creates an education system in which every young person will know they are valued and supported, whoever they are.

Fashion features less prominently in this years Rainbow Collection, citing a potential shift in the market, as consumers look less at clothing whilst social distancing is in place and more towards products that provide an experience.
Other activity taking place in Pride Month sees Disney UK & Ireland’s business resource group, Disney PRIDE UK&I and hosting digital sessions to virtually bring the community together in lieu of participating physically in pride parades throughout the region.
