The Shirt Company launches Curve Range amid 'growing demand for more inclusive sizing'
The Shirt Company is launching a new Curve Range tomorrow, 12 June, in direct response to demand for more inclusive sizing.
It sees the London-based label, which is best known for redefining the white shirt for women from a fresh and feminine perspective, now offer its bestselling shirts and blouses - crafted in Europe using premium cotton and poplin - in UK sizes 6-28.
Each piece has been fitted on a range of real bodies to refine proportions, adjust lengths and enhance support where needed.
From precise dart placements to considered hem lengths and button spacing, every detail has been re-engineered to offer a silhouette that "empowers women of all shapes".
Donna Middleton, founder of The Shirt Company, said: "We have always believed that great tailoring should be accessible to every woman. This new size inclusive range is the result of months of refinement and dedication to getting the fit right, not just scaled up.
"By working with a variety of fit models, we have created pieces that flatter without restricting and move with you, not against you. It’s a proud evolution for our brand."
Key styles include the ‘Isabella White Tiered Ruffle Cotton Shirt’ – described as "a crisp cotton showstopper", with cascading ruffles and a gently flared fit for added movement, retailing at £130, and the ‘Abigail White Wrap Cotton Poplin Blouse’, which has adjustable waist ties for a customisable shape, for £95.
For "evening elegance redefined" there’s the ‘Antoinette Pleated Tuxedo Shirt’ (£120), with vertical pleats that elongate the silhouette, and the ‘Willow Ruffle Collar Shirt’, available in white and navy for £120, which features structured ruffle detail.
There’s also the ‘Victoria Ruffled Evening Blouse’, available in ivory and black for £100, the Madelena White Tailored V-Neck Cotton Shirt’ (£100), which has subtle shaping through the waist - designed to skim rather than cling, and the "everyday essential" ‘Colleen White Semi-Fit Basic Cotton Shirt’ for £95, designed for plenty of coverage at the hip.
