The Rolling Stones are launching an exclusive series of collaborations between five iconic British brands and their RS No.9 Carnaby store and brand, at 9 Carnaby Street in London, in partnership with Bravado, Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company.

The "made in Britain" collaboration series includes collections with Kirk Originals, Johnstons of Elgin, Tricker’s, Lewis Leathers and The Great Frog.

The first in the series of the collaborations will be with Kirk Originals, launching on 27 August, 2021. It comprises of two styles of limited-edition sunglasses, called "Aftermath" and "Black and Blue", both inspired by iconic Rolling Stones’ albums and featuring the band’s famous tongue logo discreetly on the arm of the sunglasses. All Kirk Originals sunglasses are handmade in England.

Mark Brown, Creative Director of Kirk Originals, said: “When we were approached to create a suite of frames for The Rolling Stones RS No.9 Carnaby Street store we knew that there could be no greater opportunity than this to marry the Kirk Originals approach to eyewear with the spirit and aesthetic of a London rock ‘n’ roll legend.

“The result of our collaboration is a suite of two frames, designed to appeal to bold and confident characters. They are timeless silhouettes, referencing exciting moments in time when rock ‘n’ roll style and attitude was central to London culture, but brought up to date through the use of contemporary materials and sleek fabrication.”

David Boyne, Managing Director of Bravado, commented: “We are excited to be collaborating with these heritage brands, showcasing the best Britain has to offer, with a nod to the individual styles of The Rolling Stones band members themselves - this marks the coming together of iconic British brands.”

Following the launch of the Kirk Originals eyewear collection will be a collaboration with heritage knitwear brand Johnstons of Elgin. Three limited edition pieces will land in October, just in time for the changing seasons.

December will see the launch of a leather collection with Royal Warrant holder Tricker’s shoes, while early 2022 will see an iconic leather jacket collection with Lewis Leathers, and a statement jewellery collection with renowned rock ‘n’ roll jewellery brand and fellow Carnaby retailer, The Great Frog.

All collaborations are exclusive, limited edition and only available to purchase for a limited time in the RS No.9 Carnaby store and online on the Carnaby/The Rolling Stones website. Further launch dates will be revealed soon.
