The Industry's Daisy de Villeneuve teams up with Juicy Couture
Daisy de Villeneuve, member and advisor to The Industry, has been invited to customise her iconic illustrations, live at a shopping event at Juicy Couture’s London flagship store on Bruton Street.
Daisy is renowned globally for her felt-tip illustrations. Her two books, ‘He Said She Said’ and ‘I Told You So’ have had great success and her illustrations have featured on shoeboxes for Topshop, packaging for Moët & Chandon, and T-shirts for the V&A. Daisy has also worked with Vogue, Elle Decoration, Nylon, Colette and Browns Focus.
For the British Fashion Council’s 25th anniversary, Daisy was commissioned to design a range of special edition products. Daisy has also been in campaigns for Gap and Uniqlo as a British style icon. Her most recent exhibition was a solo show London department store Liberty and she designed textiles for Zac Posen's Z Spoke SS11 collection.
The Juicy Couture ‘Cocktails & Couture’ evening in conjunction with Chain of Hope, will see a showcase of Daisy’s work with Daisy on hand to treat customers to special customised sketches.
Daisy says, "Customising my sketches live at Juicy Couture gives me the opportunity to connect with customers on a personal level. I'm pleased to have been chosen to illustrate for their Cocktails & Couture event as it's a very exciting project and I'm happy to be involved."
