TFG London appoints Julia Monro as Chief Brand Officer

TFG London, the owner of Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff, has appointed Julia Monro in a newly created role of Chief Brand Officer, with immediate effect.

Monro, who has been Brand Director at White Stuff, which TFG acquired in October 2024, for five years, will now lead brand, marketing, and creative direction across the group’s brands, reporting to CEO of TFG London, Justin Hampshire.

Spearheading White Stuff’s full rebrand, Monro successfully repositioned the business as a modern multi-channel lifestyle brand with a dynamic digital-led marketing strategy - growing brand awareness and winning record numbers of new customers.

Prior to White Stuff, Monro spent six and a half years at Pret A Manger in a variety of senior roles, most recently as Marketing Director, and over six years in marketing at Marks & Spencer, where she was Social Media Manager.

Hampshire said: "Since acquiring White Stuff in October 2024, I have been impressed by Julia’s creativity and innovative approach to marketing the brand.

"I am confident she is the right person to step into this newly created group role to lead the brand, marketing, and creative direction across Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff.

"I look forward to working with Julia and the wider TFG London executive team as we continue to deliver sustainable, profitable growth."

Monro added: "I am really excited to take on this new role as Chief Brand Officer across TFG London’s fantastic portfolio of fashion brands.
