Ted Baker to donate 100% profits from new online pop-up

Ted Baker is to launch a new digital pop-up, Ted’s Bazaar, with 100% of profits going to local communities facing challenges.

Launching 1 May 2020, the first collection will feature three exclusive Ted Baker designs: a rainbow, an applause emoji and a ‘Home Hope Love’ slogan.

The first donation will go to Magic Breakfast, a charity that provides free, healthy breakfasts to school children across the UK who are at risk of hunger, giving them the fuel they need to learn.

Beyond the current pandemic Ted Baker confirmed Ted’s Bazaar will continue to provide support for local communities with regular product launches, each dedicated to a different cause.

Prices start from just £5 for an A4 poster print, with t-shirts priced at £25.

In a statement, the company said: "Now more than ever, we need to support local. But we’re also committed to providing long-term support too. That's why Ted’s Bazaar will stay open beyond the current coronavirus pandemic, to continue to raise funds for other important causes, with regular product drops dedicated to different charities."

In February 2020, Ted Baker announced it had recruited former HMV Group Finance Director David Wolffe as the company’s new interim Chief Financial Officer.

In March 2020, Rachel Osborne announced she will step up to become the premium fashion brand’s third CEO in just over a year following a series of profit warnings and a misconduct scandal which claimed the head of founder Ray Kelvin.
