Ted Baker bolsters board with two new non-execs

British premium fashion and lifestyle brand Ted Baker has bolstered its board with the appointment of two new non-executive directors with specific expertise in digital and related areas.

Anita Balchandani is a partner at OC&C Consultants and is an experienced non-executive director with "broad international retail experience". She is currently a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee of AIM-listed Majestic Wine and a non-executive director of luxury beauty retailer Space NK Apothecary. As well as non-executive director she will also take up the role of chairman of the remuneration committee and a member of the audit committee.

Jennifer Roebuck, who is co-founder of events app REVL and who has a background in digital transformation and brand marketing, has been appointed non-executive director and member of the audit committee.

Anne Sheinfield has stood down from the board after more than seven years as non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee.
