Ted Baker has appointed Jason Beckley as Chief Customer, Marketing and Digital Officer, a role that will see him take responsibility for the strategy and execution across its marketing, customer and digital teams.

Beckley joined Ted Baker from Esprit, where he held the role of Interim Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to this Beckley led on marketing and brand strategy for brands including Ralph Lauren, Alexander McQueen, Clarks, Jack Wills and Alfred Dunhill.

Rachel Osborne, Ted Baker CEO, said: “Refreshing and re-energising the Ted Baker brand is a key part of our growth strategy. We are excited to welcome Jason to our executive team, where his extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to progress with the turnaround of this great global lifestyle brand.”

The brand's interim results, published in November 2021, emphasised its return to growth and improving profitability in the 28 weeks ending 14 August 2021. The premium fashion brand has revealed a year-on-year increase in group revenue of 17.6% to £199.3 million in the 28 week-period. However, in comparison to the same pre-pandemic period in 2019, revenue was down 36.4%.
