Sovereign Centros has announced that Ted Baker, Faayds, and Claire's Accessories are among the new retailers opening units at Merry Hill, one of the top 10 retail and leisure destinations in the UK.

Ted Baker has opened a 2,500 sq ft store on the upper level of the shopping centre. The new space is home to a comprehensive range of footwear, accessories, womenswear, and menswear. This will complement a strong line-up of fashion brands that have committed to the upper level this year, such as Kurt Geiger.

West Midlands-based fashion retailer Faayds also has a 2,660 sq ft space on Merry Hill’s upper level. The retailer offers a selection of womenswear, menswear, and accessories.

Claire's Accessories has also joined the cohort of openings. The brand has upsized its previous unit, relocating to a 1,230 sq ft space on the lower level. It will stock the global brand’s range of jewellery, hair accessories, gifts, and school supplies, which are most popular amongst young teens.

Alistair Winning, Asset Manager at Sovereign Centros, commented: “Introducing premium brand Ted Baker to Merry Hill adds to the emerging aspirational retailer hub on the destination’s upper level. Paperchase, Faayds, and Claire’s Accessories also contribute to the diversity of retail on offer here; evidence that there is truly something for everyone at this all-encompassing West Midlands destination.”

This news follows a series of announcements for the shopping destination, including the opening of luxury British jewellers Beaverbrooks upsized 2,740 sq ft showroom.
