15 September 2020

British watch brand Tayroc is to launch an independent Student Ambassador and Mentorship programme, aimed at supporting students and young people in their career development.

The objective of the programme is to prepare students in finding work and internships, whilst helping them to develop skills and ‘on the job’ work experience, utilising Tayroc and Lid Project’s ‘in-house’ experts.

Devised by Tayroc Managing Director and Director of Lid Project, Gemma Noble, the initiative will enable students to build a relationship with the Tayroc and the Lid Project brands which could result in further work placements as part of students University courses.

Monthly virtual Mentorship seminars will take place, giving students the opportunity to interact with project teams from Social Media Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, Communication, Psychology & Mental Health in the workplace and Personal Professional Development.

Students will also be encouraged to take part in testing new products, taking part in focus groups and submitting ideas that will be credited and remunerated.

Students can sign up to be an ambassador using Tayroc’s social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and through a partnership with Student Beans using their student number for validation.

Students who sign up will receive a gift box containing a Tayroc watch, branded face covering, fragrance and soon to be launched clothing such as t-shirts & hoodies.

The opportunity launches on 21st September 2020 and comes at a time when students are starting university and looking for positive encouragement for their future prospects.
