Swedish brands A Day’s March and Deadwood launch collaboration leather collection
Swedish fashion brands A Day’s March and Deadwood, long-time neighbours and "admirers of each other’s work", have come together on a limited-edition capsule collection of three pieces crafted from premium deadstock leather and suede.
The collection features a reimagined black leather flying jacket, a brown suede overshirt that merges A Day’s March’s refined aesthetic with Deadwood’s signature material, and a leather tote bag that "balances durability with understated elegance".
Stockholm-based Deadwood crafts garments and accessories from recycled and upcycled leather (as well as vegan leather) with a firm focus on sustainability, while A Day’s March is known for creating "timeless" designs with an emphasis on quality and fit.
Carl Ollson, co-founder of Deadwood, said: "Our goal has always been to challenge the fashion industry by creating sustainable garments without compromising style. The collaboration between us and A Day's March unites our two worlds - their clean design and our love for sustainable, recycled materials."
Rasmus Elfton, Marketing Director at A Day's March, added: "We have always admired Deadwood, both as friends and industry colleagues, so it felt natural to collaborate.
"We share a vision of timeless design and quality that lasts over time, and this collection is a concrete expression of that. It is also an opportunity for us to work with experts in leather and suede to create our dream products in those materials."
The collection is fronted by five "creators from different fields", each with a unique story and "connection to the expression and values the collaboration is built on: authenticity and creativity".
The five are skateboarding great Ali Boulala, renowned chef Kit Paterson – currently cooking up a storm at Dove in Notting Hill, indie musician Linn Kock-Emmery who released her Grammy nominated debut album ‘Being the Girl’ in 2021, visual storyteller Harris Elliot, and artist Jessica Anny Woodley.
The capsule collection is available at the A Day’s March store at 24 Berwick Street in London’s Soho, as well as at the brand’s flagship store at Kungsgatan 3 in Stockholm and on the A Day’s March website. The flying jacket is £600, the suede overshirt is £350 and the tote bag is £300.
