Sustainable marketplace Kool & Konscious to launch in UK

Kool & Konscious, a new online platform offering a wide selection of sustainable fashion is set to launch in the UK later this year.

Kool and Konscious was founded in Hong Kong in May 2019 by Eva Vucheva and Boryana Uzunova, a Forbes 30 Under 30 2019 honoree. This fashion marketplace aims to curate the world largest selection of sustainable and ethical sourced fashion items.

Vucheya is the former co-CEO of Fashion Days and Uzunova has previously worked in Hong Kong on developing a mobile 3D body scanner, aimed at enabling brands to provide on-demand and perfect-fit apparel.

Currently, the online retailer stocks 28 sustainable designers on the website, with new labels being added on a regular based across womenswear and menswear. Overall Kool and Konscious has signed over 200 labels with the likes of including Kozha Numbers, Mother Erth and emerging British designers such as Tobefrank and Gaia London.

Stockists are expected to provide a whole breakdown on supplier and production processes, ensuring transparency of the creation process of every single item sold on site.

The online marketplace also provides customers with an "On Demand" made-to-order service from multiple brands such as Kozha Numbers and Gnana Studio, to guarantee pieces are unique and made with very little waste.
