Supreme announces temporary closure of all stores due to coronavirus

Supreme has announced the temporary closures of all stores outside of Japan, as the world continues to respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The streetwear brand is following in the steps of brands like NikeAbercrombie & Fitch and Urban Outfitters who all announced similar moves over the weekend.

Unlike other companies, Supreme has not announced an expected reopening date, signifying a move that they will remain closed for as long as necessary. The brand has simply put out a statement stating: "We are closed temporarily to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff."

There has been no confirmation if Supreme are continuing to pay their employees while they are unable to work.

Supreme will continue to operate via its online retail platform for the foreseeable, working closely with suppliers to ensure their safety whilst also fulfilling orders.
