Stuart Trevor to headline designer catwalk at Source Fashion
AllSaints founder Stuart Trevor is set to headline the designer catwalk with his new eponymous brand at the forthcoming Source Fashion show running from 18-20 February at Olympia London.
The designer launched his sustainable Stuart Trevor line of upcycled and reworked deadstock and vintage pieces in 2023 to much acclaim, begging the question "what about a clothing brand that doesn’t produce any clothing?"
His mission is to make buying sustainable products easier and more fun while "creating non-destructive clothing from other peoples’ waste".
Trevor said: "It’s a critical moment for our collective future - we should have done it years ago, but given we can’t turn back the clocks, now is the time to act. There are too many clothes that already exist, and too many clothes still being produced – continuing on this trajectory just doesn’t make sense, for the industry or for the planet.
"Creativity to me has always been about doing more with what we have already - which is exactly the basis of Stuart Trevor. The synergy between our brand and Source Fashion was a no-brainer and I’m excited to showcase some of our designs on the Source catwalk and show what fashion can produce with the tonnes of stock that’s already in circulation."
As well as Trevor’s new creations, the Source catwalk will present the latest womenswear edited from the show floor, giving visitors ideas of how to build looks and ranges.
The Source Catwalk takes place:
- Tuesday at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:30
- Wednesday at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:30
- Thursday at 11:00 and 13:00
Visitors will also be able to hear from Trevor on Wednesday 19 February at 13:30 during a Fireside Chat with TheIndustry.fashion’s co-founder and Editor-in-Chief, Lauretta Roberts, under the title of: ‘A clothing company that doesn’t produce clothes’.
Stuart Trevor, the brand, has also been shortlisted for the ‘Sustainable Sourcing’ Award at the inaugural TheIndustry.fashion Awards taking place on the evening of 27 February at the Corinthia London hotel.
