Strathberry revenue soars as international expansion pays off

Scottish luxury leather goods brand Strathberry saw revenue of £36.4 million to 30 April 2025, a jump of 35% year-on-year, with international expansion cited as a key factor including a “tenfold” increase in its wholesale business in Japan.

The company also said it is “on track” to hit £50 million in revenue for the year to April 2026, following a record peak trading period which saw November and December 2025 reach 58% growth on the previous year.

There has been "strong" growth across the UK, US and other key international markets, with full year revenue growth for the Middle Eastern wholesale channel alone expected to be 70% for the year to April 2026.

Strathberry is also seeing momentum across newer regions, including Australia and Germany, while business in Ireland more than doubled during 2025 across both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and wholesale channels, having launched with luxury retailer Brown Thomas in December 2024.

In a joint comment, Strathberry founders Guy and Leanne Hundleby, said: “The business continues to build momentum across its core markets in the UK and the US, as well as in key emerging markets where there is a significant opportunity to consolidate presence and accelerate growth.

“Strathberry’s home market, the UK, has seen a notable uplift and has become the brand’s fastest growing region. Alongside this, the business has delivered impressive organic expansion in new territories and is now investing to further expand its global footprint.

“Strathberry remains on a strong growth trajectory, driven by digital expansion, continued investment in wholesale partnerships, and entry into new and exciting markets. We have a clear ambition to surpass £100 million in revenue within the next three years, while maintaining our unwavering commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design.”

The business maintains a 90% DTC “channel weighting”, thanks, in part, to its own retail performance, with the Strathberry flagship store in London’s Covent up 40% across 2025.

Strathberry is actively looking to open more stores in the UK, US and further afield “over the coming years”.
