Strathberry launches first ever made in Scotland cashmere collection
Edinburgh-based luxury leather goods brand Strathberry is launching its first ever cashmere collection today, 24 September.
Crafted in the world renowned mills located in the west coast of Scotland and Hawick – ‘the home of cashmere’ - in the Scottish borders, the collection of capes and accessories, including scarves, beanies and gloves, is “rooted in heritage” and inspired by “conscious luxury”.
Each piece is carefully washed in the soft, natural waters of the Firth of Clyde in Ayrshire and the River Teviot in Hawick, a time honoured process that helps create exceptionally soft cashmere.

Every scarf, beanie, and glove is made with cutting-edge ‘Whole Garment’ technology, which produces three-dimensionally in a single piece so each item is completely seam-free, offering increased comfort and a better fit.
With zero material waste and minimal post-production processing required, the innovative technology offers a more sustainable way of manufacturing.

Strathberry was founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Guy and Leeanne Hundleby. While its luxury bags, belts, gloves, wallets and purses are designed in Scotland, they are handcrafted in Spain.
By producing the new cashmere collection in Scotland, Strathberry is committing to supporting local communities and preserving traditional craftsmanship, while reducing its carbon footprint.
As of today, 24 September, the new collection will be available on the Strathberry website and in its Edinburgh and London boutiques, with prices ranging from £65 to £525.
