Sports Direct doubles retail presence at Glasgow’s Braehead Centre and adds USC

Frasers Group has upsized its Sports Direct store at the Braehead Centre in Glasgow to a 20,000 sq ft unit on the upper level – double the size of its previous 10,000 sq ft space - while also adding a dedicated USC fashion area as well as GAME.

The move follows the opening of a 50,000 sq ft Sports Direct flagship store at the Manchester Arndale shopping centre in March as part of its elevation strategy.

The new store is in addition to the 10,000 sq ft Flannels store that Frasers Group opened at the Braehead Shopping Centre in June 2022, which carries a curated collection of designer clothing and accessories from brands such as Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Balmain and Off White.
