SKIMS poaches Victoria Beckham Brand Partnerships Director as VP of Comms
SKIMS has appointed Jasmine Sevan as Vice President of Communications, reporting into Chief Communications Officer Tracy Nguyen.
Sevan joins SKIMS, which was co-founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, with nearly two decades of experience shaping the reputation and growth of leading global luxury fashion brands.
Most recently, she served as Global Communications & Brand Partnerships Director at Victoria Beckham, where she led the brand’s communications strategy for almost four years, from September 2022.
During her tenure at Victoria Beckham, she oversaw the designer’s debut on the Paris Fashion Week calendar, secured strategic partnerships with Breitling, Mango and Gap, and played a key role in the development and global launch of the acclaimed Netflix documentary Victoria Beckham.
Tracy Nguyen said: “Jasmine is an exceptional communications leader with a sharp strategic mindset and a deep understanding of how brands shape culture.
“Her experience building the reputation of fashion's most respected brands, along with her relationships across media, fashion and entertainment, makes her an incredible addition to SKIMS.”
Sevan added: “SKIMS has built one of the most influential and culturally relevant brands in the world, and I'm honoured to be part of its next chapter.
“I look forward to working alongside this exceptional team to continue shaping the brand’s story, strengthening its connection with customers, and driving the next phase of global growth.”
Originally from New York and based in London for the past 20 years, Sevan will relocate to Los Angeles for her new role. She previously served as Communications Director at Christopher Kane and PR Director at Karla Otto, advising some of the luxury industry's most respected brands on communications, brand strategy and global storytelling.
Last month saw the highly anticipated opening of SKIMS' first UK flagship store on London's Regent Street, marking a significant step in the brand's international expansion.
The signing of a 10-year lease with The Crown Estate for 245–247 Regent Street, formerly occupied by Ted Baker, was originally announced last year.
The store offers SKIMS' full product range, including shapewear, underwear, loungewear, menswear and accessories, alongside seasonal collections and pieces from the NikeSKIMS collaboration.
