Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede’s shapewear brand SKIMS has appointed Erin Magee as its first-ever Chief Design Officer and has promoted Kim Schraub to Chief Brand Officer.

Magee has most recently served as Chief Creative Officer at Supreme, having spent the last 22 years at the New York streetwear label leading creative vision, design, product development and product strategy across apparel, accessories, collaborations and special projects.

In 2007, Magee also founded MadeMe, a "pioneering" women’s brand that "embodied individuality, youth culture, and a distinct female perspective".

At SKIMS, she will oversee design and creative product direction as the brand continues to expand its global footprint across categories and markets.

Kim Kardashian, Chief Creative Officer and co-founder of SKIMS, said: “I've admired Erin's work for years – the way she approaches design with such a strong point of view while staying completely connected to her audience is something I deeply respect.

“She understands what it means to build something that truly resonates and I'm so excited to welcome her to SKIMS.”

Jens Grede, CEO and co-founder of SKIMS, commented: “Erin brings an unparalleled creative vision and a proven ability to build brands that transcend fashion and become cultural touchstones.

“Her eye for design, her deep understanding of product and her instinct for what resonates make her exactly the right person to lead SKIMS into its next era. We're incredibly excited to welcome her to the team.”

Magee added: “SKIMS has done something rare: built a brand that is both deeply personal and universal. The commitment to design, innovation and solutions for every body is genuinely inspiring, and I'm excited to help shape what comes next.

“I look forward to working alongside this talented team to push the creative boundaries of the brand and create products that people truly connect with.”

Kim Schraub has been with SKIMS as Creative Director since its inception in 2019, having joined following her time as Brand Director at Yeezy from 2012 to 2019.

She began her career at Abercrombie & Fitch, where from 1997 to 2002 she led design and concept across Abercrombie, Hollister and kids. She then joined Victoria's Secret PINK as EVP, Design & Concept, where over a decade she helped grow the label into a flagship of the brand.

In her new role as Chief Brand Officer, Schraub will sit at the intersection of creative and commercial - balancing a strong aesthetic vision with a deep understanding of what drives brand growth.

She will continue to oversee how SKIMS shows up as a brand, while taking on a broader leadership role across retail, campaigns, collaborations and storytelling, “shaping how SKIMS looks, feels, and resonates across every touchpoint”.

Commenting on her promotion, Kardashian said: “Kim has been with us since before SKIMS existed. She helped turn an idea into a brand that people genuinely love.

“Her creative instincts have helped shape everything about how SKIMS shows up in the world, and this promotion is a reflection of the enormous impact she has had, and the trust Jens and I have in her vision. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.”

Grede added: “Kim Schraub is one of the most talented creatives I've had the privilege of working with. She has an extraordinary ability to translate the essence of SKIMS into something you can see and feel.

“Elevating her into the Chief Brand Officer role is the natural evolution of the creative leadership she has always provided.”

Last week, SKIMS announced it has signed for a second UK store at Westfield London (White City), set to open in 2027.

It will add to last month’s highly anticipated opening of SKIMS’ first UK flagship store at 245-247 Regent Street, formerly occupied by Ted Baker, which was originally announced last year.

The 12,000 sq ft flagship is currently offering the full SKIMS product range, including shapewear, underwear, loungewear, menswear and accessories, alongside seasonal collections and pieces from the NikeSKIMS collaboration.
