Sisters & Seekers to open pop-up shop in Chester

Athleisure brand Sisters & Seekers, which was founded by sisters Alice and Maisie Jones in 2017, is gearing up to open a one-week pop-up shop at 4 St. Michaels Row, The Grosvenor Precinct in Chester from 4-10 October 2021.

It will be the first time the brand has been available to buy in-store since the demise of Topshop, which was where Sisters & Seekers was originally brought to the attention of fashion savvy 18-30 year-olds.

"The Seekers Pop-Up Shop", as it’s being called, comes five months after the brand’s successful debut on ASOS, and the temporary shop will incorporate two other local businesses - to be designated a section each in the shop to sell their products - Chalk Coffee and Ginger Floral Design.

Alice Jones said: “We chose Chester as the location because we live and work right on the border between Wales and England and it’s our closest major city. It has great transport links from Liverpool and Manchester and we wanted to stay close to our roots.

“We are so excited to be able to offer an in-store experience for our customers who have only been able to shop our products online since the closure of Topshop. The opportunity to open a pop-up local to our HQ was something we couldn’t miss, as ourselves and the team love new challenges and working in new environments.

“Everyone will be getting stuck in for a week packed full of showcasing brand new pieces, surprises in store and sneak peeks at upcoming drops. It’s not to be missed.”

Maisie Jones added: “We’re only going for a week because we want to gauge the reception we get from our customers, and we want to create something that’s exclusive and that will hopefully leave a lasting impression on our customers who have not experienced the brand in a physical space since we withdrew from Topshop, just before the collapse of Arcadia.

“The buzz that we saw around our launch on ASOS was really exciting and clearly showed the wider demand for Sisters & Seekers to be available on other platforms. In the long term we hope that will continue to increase brand awareness and be a contributing factor to our growth by working alongside a huge partner like ASOS.”
