SilkFred champions independent fashion brands with nine new additions
E-commerce destination SilkFred is onboarding nine independent fashion brands, helping them to expand their business and online audience.
The London-based retail platform, which launched in 2011, now stocks over 900 independent fashion brands, all hand-picked by its expert team. SilkFred has helped grow brands from market stalls to seven-figure businesses. For example, it helped Never Fully Dressed reach millions of customers in the UK and internationally.
Emma Watkinson, CEO of SilkFred, commented on the new launches: “We are thrilled to welcome these new brands onboard, as we continue to scout and work with the next generation of independent fashion brands.
“Together with our 900+ brand partners, we’ve established relationships for long-term success, helping brands grow faster online and helping brand owners focus on the elements of their business they love the most.”
New brands added to the site include:
• Cocobooloves: a slow fashion brand offering reversible dresses
• Chapter London: a sustainable womenswear brand
• Another Sunday: a premium, ageless womenswear brand
• Issy London: an outerwear brand specialising in eco-friendly faux fur jackets
The new brands will have access to SilkFred's support, which includes in-house styling, warehousing and worldwide distribution.
Tanya Patel, Founder of Chapter London, added: “Working with SilkFred has helped my business grow beyond my wildest dreams.
“The brand team are brilliant to work with as they have a collaborative approach, really seamless with communication and client engagement. Our favourite part of the week is speaking to the SilkFred team about exciting newness and bestsellers!”
