Shopline launches B2B Commerce Solution as it targets UK expansion

Shopline, Asia’s largest commerce services platform for selling online, has announced the launch of its B2B Commerce Solution. This fully customisable toolkit sets out to transform B2B buying into a feature-rich and united experience.

The B2B buying experience remains fragmented for many businesses, with challenges such as limited access to accurate information, a lack of transparency, and inadequate digital capabilities. Shopline's B2B Commerce Solution addresses these issues, enabling merchants to expand their online brand presence, create B2B-friendly storefronts that reduce purchasing friction and streamline the payment processes.

The platform "empowers businesses" to drive top-line growth by integrating modern, fully customisable business-to-consumer (B2C) strategies into their B2B commerce.

It also provides a comprehensive toolkit that aims to boost a brand's customer loyalty and transform long-tail shoppers into valuable revenue streams.

Deepak Anand, General Manager at Shopline EMEA, said: "We are seeing a general shift within the B2B space, where customers are moving towards consumer-like purchasing behaviour. They're demanding a much more sophisticated buying experience and are willing to walk away if they don't receive it.

"Shopline B2B combats this. Optimising the B2B buying journey, it enables merchants to create a model that fits their business needs, offering best-in-class performance that provides B2C experiences with added B2B convenience. Ultimately, SHOPLINE B2B facilitates growth across sales channels, brands, and markets."

This follows Shopline's announcement in June that it was bolstering its UK team as it set out for expansion. The company appointed James Cowie as Principal Architect and Jas Sandhu as Head of Professional Services.

Both roles are described as "pivotal to the business" to ensure that Shopline continues to deliver on its promise of technical excellence while also providing first-class customer service and consultation as the business continues its rapid growth across the EMEA region.

In the same month, the company announced it was partnering with Womenswear brand Chi Chi London to create a more premium and personalised shopping experience and propel further growth.
