Sézane and Sea revisit their creative partnership with new limited-edition drop

Sézane is returning to one of its longest-standing creative partnerships, announcing a third collaboration with New York-based fashion brand Sea.

Founded in Paris in 2013, Sézane was built on Founder Morgane Sézalory’s vision to create high-quality pieces at fair and accessible prices, with creativity, community and responsible production at its core. The brand has since expanded to include Octobre Éditions for men, Petit Sézane for children and Les Composantes for homeware. It has since cultivated a cult British following, opened up shop in London's Marylebone and Notting Hill.

The limited-edition collection reunites Sézalory with Sea co-founders Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan. Sea, founded in New York by lifelong friends Paolini and Monahan, is known for balancing vintage inspiration with a modern point of view.

"Working with Monica and Sean again felt both natural and exciting," said Sézalory. "There is a freedom and creativity in their world that constantly inspires me. Together, we wanted to design pieces that truly delight—creations that feel unique to both of us, yet belong to neither alone. That’s where the magic happens."

Blending Sézane’s French ease with Sea’s intricate detailing, the collection spans embroidery, lace, crochet and patchwork across a tightly edited range. Key pieces include romantic cotton blouses, textured knitwear, structured jackets and vintage-inspired silhouettes, reworked with a contemporary sensibility.

"Collaborating with Morgane and the Sézane team always feels wonderfully effortless," said Paolini. “With this collection, we wanted to create something that felt both familiar and new - rooted in our shared appreciation for craft, yet shaped by the distinct energy of our two worlds. It’s a celebration of femininity, texture, and the small details that make a piece truly special."

The accompanying campaign was shot on the streets of New York City, paying tribute to Nolita, where Sézane opened its first North American Appartement.

Launching later this month, the collection will be available exclusively on Sezane.com and in select Sézane Appartements.
