SEVEN FEET APART launches most sustainable shoe to date

Today sees the launch of eco-friendly footwear brand SEVEN FEET APART’s latest range of sneakers – its most sustainable to date – called "Flite", on Kickstarter.

The entire range is vegan, made of recycled plastic and it’s the first sneaker to have an eco-friendly sole made from sugarcane.

In addition, the shoes – designed for fashion-conscious travellers – come in a multi-use packing tube, which can be used to store them, as opposed to single-use shoe boxes which take up space and end up in landfill.

The shoes, in both men’s and women’s styles, are available in five colours, and can be ordered exclusively from Kickstarter, with prices starting at £99, a 40% saving on the RRP of £164. Once the Kickstarter campaign is closed, the shoes will be manufactured, with delivery to customers in April 2020.

Matt Bagwell, co-founder of SEVEN FEERT APART, said: “SEVEN FEET APART was born out of a desire to transform the way we travel by making sneakers that meet consumer needs as well as being sustainable and kinder to the planet. Flite is the result of collaborations across the industry, and a collective desire to make better products.”
