Seraphine explores investment opportunities and potential sale to drive expansion

Maternity fashion brand Seraphine has initiated a process to identify a new strategic partner to support the next phase of its growth, which may include, but is not limited to, securing a new investor or pursuing a full sale.

Following its recent relaunch, the clothing brand exclusively told TheIndustry.fashion that it is now working with advisors from Interpath to secure additional investment and support the next phase of its growth journey.

A range of strategic options are being explored, including the potential introduction of a new investor or a full sale of the business.

Annie Holt, Chief Design & Creative Officer at Seraphine, said: "As we build on the momentum of our recent brand relaunch and website re-platform, this is a natural next step in Seraphine’s journey.

"We've redefined what maternity fashion can be - placing design, functionality, and confidence at the heart of every piece. As we look to the future, this process is about finding the right partner to support and accelerate that vision, while staying true to the pregnant women we design for every day."

The news follows the company's relaunch in April, which marked a bold redefinition of maternity fashion, with a renewed emphasis on form, function, and fit.

With a dedicated team of in-house designers, Seraphine is focussing on meeting the evolving needs of a woman's body during pregnancy, creating clothing that blends comfort and style throughout this transformative journey.

To achieve this, the brand dedicated time to understanding how women want to dress throughout pregnancy, addressing not only their practical needs but also their emotional connection to style and self-expression.

The relaunch also introduced an updated website designed to reflect the brand’s refreshed identity, as well as new a spring/summer campaign.

Founded in 2002 by French designer Cécile Reinaud, Séraphine is a London-based international maternity fashion label. Its collections are also available through major retailers, including John Lewis and NEXT.
