Selfridges will today take the wraps off the first phase of the new "Designer Studio" space at its Oxford Street flagship, which will house "unique boutique destinations" from some of fashion's most exciting designers alongside new names to watch.

The Designer Studio rounds off Selfridges' studio concept, which also includes the Body Studio, the Denim Studio and the Contemporary Studio on floor three of the iconic store.

It will include brands such as JW Anderson, Vetements, Christopher Kane, Marni, Joseph, Maison Margiela, Undercover, Toga, Jacquemus and Craig Green alongside new names including Dilara Findikoglu, Richard Malone, Le Kilt, Walk of Shame and Puma x Fenty.

Designed by long-time Selfridges creative collaborators including Anna Lomax, Gary Card and Patternity, the Designer Studio will "connect fashion, contemporary art, music and culture with a range of concept spaces".

The T Shirt Shop will host a collection of "cult styles" including new labels Copson, Life's a Beach and Tennesse Thomas' The Deep End Club. &Co-Lab will promote collaboration with young British labels with new talent and ideas from all over the world, while The Book Shop will showcase a specialist mix of photography, fashion and arts books, magazines, annuals and collectible editions.

To complete the experience, shoppers will hear playlists chosen by the designers themselves, spacious fitting rooms and "Instagram-worthy" backdrops.

Selfridges is currently celebration the 400-year anniversary of Shakespeare's death with in-store events, creative collaborations, special windows and a selection of Shakespeare-themed products.
