Seiko UK to open two-storey boutique on New Bond Street

Seiko UK is opening a two-storey boutique on London’s prestigious New Bond Street this autumn.

The Japanese watchmaker's first two-storey boutique globally will showcase its Grand Seiko collection on the ground floor whilst the second floor will present its Seiko collection alongside a VIP lounge, which will house the company’s top end Credor timepieces.

Located on 68 New Bond Street, the 1,790 sq ft boutique will host a series of events to commemorate the 140-year brand heritage. Visitors will have the opportunity see "significant historical pieces on loan from the Seiko Museum, Tokyo", as well as a preview the latest Grand Seiko 'Kodo' recently unveiled at Geneva’s Watches & Wonders exhibition.

The boutique will eventually replace the Grand Seiko store at Knightsbridge's Brompton Road, which is set to close in February next year.
