Secret Sales appoints new Chief Trading Officer
Premium off-price e-commerce marketplace marketplace Secret Sales has promoted its Digital Director Fiona Lay to Chief Trading Officer.
In her new role, Lay will oversee the entirety of global trading, live seller business development, onsite merchandising and design as well as managing an internal team of 35.
Her promotion comes a year after joining the business, which announced last year that it was making new additions to its leadership team to drive international expansion.
Lay has over 25 years’ retail experience spanning beauty, womenswear, sports and menswear and was previously Digital and Trading Director at Debenhams from 2003 until June 2021.
The appointment comes after former ASOS CEO Nick Beighton took up the role of chairman at the company, which coincided with Secret Sales' plans to expand into another 12 international markets over the next two years.
