Second/Layer creates exclusive capsule for Harvey Nichols

Harvey Nichols has teamed up with Californian premium streetwear brand Second/Layer on an exclusive capsule collection which has just hit the luxury retailer's Knightsbridge flagship and website.

Called El Cruiser the collection is focused on "soft structure and elevated essentials" and includes baseball caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, a Harrington jacket, a brushed cotton coat and raw hem tapered jeans. Prices range from £95 for a cap or t-shirt to £685 for the coat.

Second/Layer was founded by Ant Franco, Jacob Willis and Joshua in a basement studio in Venice, California in 2012. They coined the phrase “tailor made daily wear” to define their approach to "simplistic elegance, smart fabrication and tamed tailoring". The collection takes inspiration from the street, surf and skate cultures of Southern California.
