Scurri acquires HelloDone to enhance post-purchase capabilities for e-comm retailers

Delivery management platform Scurri, which optimises the online ordering and delivery process for online retailers, has acquired AI platform HelloDone to expand its post-purchase capabilities for e-commerce retailers and brands.

HelloDone provides conversational AI solutions and answers post-purchase customer queries on digital messaging channels, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

It enables retailers to automate responses to customer queries via AI-powered chat, “offering effective and immediate resolutions of customer needs at scale” to deliver enhanced delivery experiences and customer service.

HelloDone’s solution “strongly complements” Scurri’s offer and will augment its existing carrier management and post-purchase solutions already available to leading e-commerce brands and retailers.
The acquisition will see the HelloDone team join Scurri, adding rich, specialist AI expertise to Scurri’s existing product and engineering functions to accelerate product innovation. Scurri will also acquire all technology, trademarks, intellectual property and clients.

Scurri is an Irish company, which has raised over £12.8m (€15.3 million) to date, following a £7.6m (€9 million) investment to accelerate growth in the European markets in 2021.

Fuelled by the growth in online shopping in the UK and Ireland, the company has opened offices in London, and the Scurri technology now manages in excess of 100 million parcel deliveries annually for e-commerce merchants.

Last year, the company launched its post-purchase experience solution, Scurri Track Plus, which allows retailers and brands to take ownership of post-sale communications and deliver branded delivery updates. The acquisition of HelloDone will make post-sale communications even more effective.
