Scotch & Soda collaborates with Veloretti bikes to celebrate rainwear collection

Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda has teamed up with fellow Amsterdam-based company Veloretti on a collection of six bikes, in celebration of the brand’s seasonal unisex ‘Amsterdam Proof’ rainwear collection.

The collaboration is inspired by the functionality needed “to face the elements” in Amsterdam, and the AW22 capsule rainwear collection features a range of unisex pieces for adults and kids, including an oversized jacket with matching trousers, a poncho, a bucket hat, a body warmer and a hoodie.

The rainwear pieces come in a colour palette of khaki, olive green, rust brown and off-white, echoed on the bike colours.

Known for its aesthetically pleasing sleek designs, Veloretti has created two limited edition state-of-the-art electric bikes, ‘Ace’ and ‘Ivy’, which have in-house developed battery packs with a range of up to 120km.

There’s also lightweight limited edition city bikes, ‘Caféracer’ – available in an exclusive Dutch green in two different models, and ‘Caféchaser’ – described as “a top performer and a statement piece”. There’s also a more classic city bike.

Designed in Amsterdam and manufactured in Europe, the Scotch & Soda x Veloretti city bikes launch today in 26 European countries, though, for now, the electric bikes will be exclusively available in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

The stylish bikes are “conceived for the daily city commute”, combining a clean design with frames made from the highest quality solid aluminium, dusted off with a durable powder-coated finish, displaying both the Scotch & Soda and Veloretti logos.

The ‘Amsterdam Proof’ capsule collection is now available on Scotch & Soda’s website and directly operated stores worldwide, in time for the autumn change of weather.

The Scotch & Soda x Veloretti bikes can be ordered from today until 15 November on the Veloretti website, and can be purchased from Veloretti’s Amsterdam flagship store.
