Schuh will be unveiling its freshly "transformed" and upgraded flagship store at Manchester’s Trafford Centre this Friday, 21 March.

There will be a re-opening event on launch day in partnership with New Balance. Customers will be able to explore a dedicated activation space and installation from the footwear brand, showcasing new releases and its performance ranges.

As part of the re-design, the store has been equipped with "state-of-the-art" digital screens, enhancing the shopping experience with high definition visuals that bring Schuh’s latest campaign, ‘Together Hits Different’, to life.

Located on the upper level of the Trafford Centre, next to Schuh Kids, the upgraded store will offer a range of perks and experiences for those visiting on launch day, including custom shoe charms designed by Manchester-based artist 'nots___'.

The custom shoe charms will be free for customers purchasing shoes on the day, and there will be complimentary goodie bags filled with exclusive merchandise.

Head of Visual Merchandising at Schuh, Damon Kirk, said: "The Trafford Centre is a cornerstone destination for shoppers across Manchester and the wider North West, drawing visitors from across the region. This reopening is about more than just a fresh new look - it’s a reflection of our deep commitment to elevating the experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

"We’ve reimagined every detail of our Trafford store to ensure a smoother, more intuitive journey, empowering customers to explore with ease and confidence.

"From the moment they arrive, they’ll find a space designed to inspire, inform and deliver the best of what we offer. This reopening marks another step in our ongoing dedication to raising the bar and setting new standards, ensuring the Trafford Centre experience is second to none."

Kate Pearson, Director at Pradera Lateral, the asset managers of the Trafford Centre, added: "Schuh’s newly transformed store offers Trafford Centre customers a best-in-class experience that reflects the brand’s dedication to innovation, inclusivity and style.

"Schuh’s investment in its new store is not only indicative of its success as a retailer, but also a wider movement in which we're seeing brands offering the best possible customer experience, whether that's through a store refit, experiential activations or enhanced loyalty schemes.

"With Trafford Centre’s commitment to escaping the ordinary, we are proud to house retailers who are dedicated to always going above and beyond."
