Women’s scarf retailer Pure, trading as Pure Fashions online, is to open its third UK store at Manchester’s Arndale Centre this August.

The 3,709 sq ft store has been take on a five-year lease and will also stock the retailer’s ranges of pashminas, wraps and knitted scarves and hats.

Established in 2006 by founders Jason Walsh and Ying Liu, with stores at 142-144 Commercial Road in East London, and units C and D at 51 Derby Street in Manchester, Pure Fashions bills itself as “the UK’s biggest scarf collection online”.

Pure Fashions Retail Director, Steve Moore, said: “We are excited to enter the scheme (Manchester Arndale) at such an important time for retail, as we consider it to be the number one location in the city.”

Scott Linard, Portfolio Director at Manchester Arndale landlords M&G Real Estate, commented: “We are continuing to ensure Manchester Arndale provides a diverse tenant mix to maintain its place as the leading retail destination in the North West.

“We are therefore delighted to be expanding our fashion accessories offering with the arrival of Pure.”

Last month Manchester Arndale announced it had reached 95% retail occupancy. Over the past 12 months the centre has welcomed the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, footwear retailer Kick Game, and an upsized Sports Direct.
