Scamp & Dude adds personalisation to its cancer charity supporting scarves
Scamp & Dude is giving its much-loved charity Super Scarves a personal touch. Customers can now add up to 12 embroidered characters - whether a name, mantra or message of strength - in a choice of three thread colours for £6.95.
For every scarf sold, another is donated to a woman starting chemotherapy, offering softness, comfort and a reminder that she’s not alone.
Since launching the initiative, the B Corp Certified brand has donated more than 70,000 scarves through a network of over 280 hospitals across the UK. With 60,000 women beginning chemotherapy each year, the need remains significant.
Founder and CEO, Jo Tutchener Sharp, said: "With the introduction of personalisation to our Super Scarves, customers can now add a name or word that holds special meaning - turning each scarf into a truly personal keepsake or heartfelt gift, carrying their own personal superpower wherever they go.
"Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve now donated over 70,000 Super Scarves and with this meaningful evolution of our mission, we hope to reach even more women starting chemotherapy, wrapping them up in love and support."
Scamp & Dude has built its reputation on "fashion with a superpower", combining its bold prints and colours with a commitment to give back. Its Superhero Sleep Buddies follow the same model: for every cuddly toy purchased, another is donated to a child who has lost a parent or is seriously ill.
The charity Super Scarves retail at £40, with more personalised pieces set to be announced soon.
