Save the Children and Thrift+ collaborate to jazz up London's Christmas jumpers

Save the Children and Thrift+ are opening a ‘Jazz Your Jumper’ pop-up at London’s Westfield, offering customers the chance to revamp their old jumpers for the festive season.

Coinciding with Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day campaign on Thursday 8 December, the non-profit organisation is teaming up with Thrift+, the UK's first click and collect app for high street charity shops.

The pop-up shop, located on the ground floor of Westfield London, will run from 6-8 December. Professional upcyclers will be on hand to revamp customers threads with a wide variety of bespoke festive decorations using the latest heat transfer technology.

Visitors to the store can choose from hundreds of designs that were donated by second-hand fashion retailer Thrift+. In addition, festive lettering in a variety of festive fonts will also be available to add a personal touch, such as a name, Christmas pun, or slogan.

Both the jumpers on sale and upcycling will carry a small minimum donation to Save the Children, with all proceeds from the store going towards keeping children in the UK, and around the world, 'safe, healthy, and learning'.

Children who bring old school jumpers along to the pop-up can jazz up their sweaters free of charge.
