Savage x Fenty poaches Nike marketing chief as new CMO
Savage x Fenty, the intimates, sleepwear, loungewear and sportswear brand founded by Rihanna in 2018, has appointed Vanessa Wallace as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Wallace joins the company after a 19-year tenure at Nike, most recently as Head of Brand Marketing. She was also previously Marketing Director for the Jordan Brand in North America.
In her new role, Wallace will report directly to CEO Hillary Super, who took over the role from Rihanna in June 2023. Based in Los Angeles, she will oversee brand and product marketing, media, creative, membership, and global communications.
Super said: "Vanessa is an exceptionally talented marketer with the deep experience and insight to drive cultural conversations and connect with consumers.
"With her innovative ideas and mastery of bold storytelling, she will build upon our success and help scale Savage X Fenty to a global audience."
Wallace added: "I am thrilled to join the team and continue building on the brand’s remarkable growth trajectory.
"This is a pivotal moment for Savage X Fenty, and I am excited to drive the vision forward, foster authentic connections with consumers, and continue challenging industry norms."
