Saul Nash unveils Spring/Summer '23 collection

Following his International Woolmark Prize win and receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design from the Duchess of Cambridge, Saul Nash has unveiled his Spring 2023 collection, 'Siblings'.

This season carries forward a personal, innovative approach, with the designer exploring sibling relationships, both with his own, and the chosen families that surround him and influence his world.

Siblings continues Nash’s exploration of masculinity, with a gender-fluid collection presented on both men and women: “With a lot of the men I look at, there are always women around them,” Nash said. “It was important for me to show not just male siblings, but a wide spectrum.”

This season, Nash introduces French Terry towelling, used on a baseball top with Saul branding. Basketball interplays into SS23 too, through basketball shorts with practical zipped pockets and contrast striped rib detailing on crew neck jumpers, reminiscent of the lines on a court.

Nash also collaborated with Sheep Inc. – the sustainably-made carbon-negative knitwear company within the collection. The Sheep Inc. x Saul Nash styles are seamlessly knitted, with polo shirts made using 100% merino.

Nash said: “For me, siblings extend past blood relations. I mostly recall my relationship with my older brother, and how we grew into two different people. But I’m also surrounded by individuals who have become family – they’re not my blood relatives, but I am connected to them like they are my siblings. That always shapes how I see my work. It starts from the men I grew up around, and looking at what this all means to me as a man now.”
