Sandro launches UK rental service with HURR
Paris-based fashion brand Sandro has today launched its first UK rental service in partnership with leading rental platform HURR, giving customers the opportunity to rent pieces from the current SS23 collection.
It comes after a successful launch in the rental market for Sandro in France in 2022, and is part of the brand’s continued commitment to “more responsible fashion”, which has seen a variety of initiatives, including the Sandro Seconde Main service in 2021.
Sandro CEO, Isabelle Allouch, said: “This additional step in the world of fashion rentals reaffirms our desire to encourage circular consumption approaches. In addition, it reinforces our overall duty of responsibility towards the environment and people, and adds to the actions we’re already taken.”

Sandro was founded by Évelyne Chetrite in 1984 as a premium contemporary womenswear brand. Menswear, under the name of Sandro Homme, was added in 2008 following her son, Ilan Chetrite, joining the company. Today the business is part of the SMCP Group, which also includes Maje, Claudie Pierlot and De Fursac.
As well as offering its own rental service, HURR also powers the rental businesses of a number of fashion brands and retailers including Coperni, Kitri, Mulberry and John Lewis.
