RIXO launches vintage-inspired collection in collaboration with stylist Bay Garnett

British womenswear brand RIXO has launched a collaboration collection with celebrity stylist, fashion editor and co-founder of ‘Second Hand September’, Bay Garnett.

The vintage-inspired limited-edition collection nods to Garnett’s own storied second hand archive and includes leopard prints, faux fur, rich velvets, metallic finishes and statement accessories alongside “elevated wardrobe essentials”.

Inspired by the “rock ‘n’ roll spirit of British style” and a wardrobe built over time, there’s trophy jackets, a standout suit, knitwear, belts and jewellery described as “finishing touches that transform an outfit into something personal and full of attitude”.

Designed as a collection of building blocks rather than one-off statement pieces, each item has been created to work alongside existing wardrobes, encouraging wearers to mix, layer and reinterpret pieces in their own way.

Orlagh McCloskey, co-founder and Creative Director at RIXO, said: “Bay has always been someone I’ve admired because she’s completely authentic. She has an instinctive eye for styling and never chases trends, which is exactly why this collaboration felt so right.

“I’ve always believed the beauty of RIXO is that it’s a starting point, not a finished look. This collection lets us show RIXO through a different lens. We’ve styled it with a point of view, but it’s really for our community to interpret and wear in their own way.

“Great style isn’t about rules; it’s about instinct, individuality and making clothes your own. Above all, we had so much fun creating it together, and I think our shared passion for personal style comes through in every piece.”

Garnett added: “I've always believed that personal style is about how you put things together. The most interesting wardrobes are never built around trends. They evolve over time and are full of pieces with personality.

“This collection was designed with that idea in mind. It's about giving people beautiful building blocks that they can wear, style and make their own.”

From 22 October 2026, John Lewis will launch its largest fashion collaboration to date with RIXO, featuring 44 vintage-inspired pieces.

The range covers dresses, knitwear, blouses, jackets, skirts, scarves, shoes and bags, with prices starting at £65.
The collection is also informed by John Lewis' own archives, marking the first time an archive print has been used in a John Lewis fashion collaboration. A floral motif is inspired by a block-printed textile from 1849 which was discovered during the collaborative design process. The signature print will feature across two dresses, a blouse, skirt and scarf.

The Bay Garnett x RIXO capsule collection is now available on the RIXO website and in all of its UK stores, including on London's Carnaby Street, Marylebone High Street, King's Road and its shop-in-shop at Liberty.
