Rihanna launches new Savage X Fenty menswear collection

Rihanna has tapped into the menswear market through expanding her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty to have a dedicated menswear capsule.

The menswear line will be available on the Savage X Fenty website starting 2 October, the same day the fashion show drops on Amazon.

For this menswear capsule, Rihanna has partnered up with American rapper and singer P. Diddy's son, Christian Combs, who featured in last year's Savage x Fenty runway show.

Rihanna and Combs teamed up to create underwear that is gender-fluid and versatile for everyday use with woven boxers, knit logo boxers and trunks, all of which allude to the first collection in a variety of different shades ranging from royals and reds to black and white.

The capsule has been inspired by the '90s aesthetics and style. The collection will be available in sizes ranging from S to XXXL.

Rihanna's Savage x Fenty line has rapidly become one of the fastest growing lingerie and intimates brands globally with estimated revenues of around $150m.

The music and fashion icon established Savage X Fenty with the aim of creating a lingerie line of intimates which cater to a wide range of shades and shapes. The brand offers a range of intimates from sizes 32A to 42H in bras, and XS to 3X in underwear and sleepwear.

In partnership with a team assembled from the industry’s elite, the label has disrupted and redefined the marketplace with its accessible price point and extensive assortment.
