British designer Richard Quinn has launched an affordable and sustainable capsule collection in collaborations with resale platform Depop.

Similar to Quinn’s mainline collection, all products have been created sustainably and ethically sourced and printed in the UK.

The collection features a range of printed jumpers, sequin slip dresses and jumpers, which have been designed using materials from Quinn’s previous runway collections. The line will also include tights, umbrellas, phone cases and reusable water bottles in the designer’s bold and signature floral prints.

Quinn said: "I’m so excited for the Richard Quinn brand to reach a new demographic and tap into Gen-Z via a tech platform which one in three 15-24 years olds in the UK are registered to. It’s such an exciting time for us to be interacting with a new demographic and welcoming them into the world of Richard Quinn."

Depop counts around a third of British 15-24-year-olds as users and seems to be a hit with the millennial market. The collections caters to this market with its affordable pricing and is deemed to be a success with Generation Z consumers. The Richard Quinn / Depop collection is priced from £45 to £285.

The platform is becoming the new eBay for fashion-savvy teens – offering them a unique way to gain financial skills and business acumen by building mini empires from their bedrooms. Since being founded in 2011, it has now amassed more than 15 million users.

Richard Quinn launched his eponymous label after graduating from Central Saint Martin and became recognised in 2018 after the Queen sat front row at his runway collection at London Fashion Week and awarded him with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.

His signature floral prints have been worn by a number of high profile celebrities including Cardi B, Kendall Jenner, Amal Clooney and Jenifer Lopez.
