Revenues surge by 22% at fast growing plus size brand Yours Clothing

Yours Clothing, the fast growing plus size retailer, has reported a 22% increase in group revenue to £88.3m in the year to 28 January 2018 as both in-store and online channels achieved strong growth.

Online sales at the Peterborough-based business were up 26% during the year and now represent 41% of sales, while store sales were up 20%,

Over the course of the year some 30 new stores were added to its store estate taking its total to 130 at the year-end point, while six new stores have already been opened in the financial year to date.

Its menswear brand BadRhino achieved a sales increase of 27% and it now represents 4% of total sales. International sales increased by 48% to represent 7% of total sales and the store opened its first fully owned international store in Dublin in February after the financial year end.

Founder and CEO Andrew Killingsworth said the performance had surpassed expectations and he was confident of future growth opportunities.

"Yours has a loyal and increasing customer base and with growing momentum in the UK and online. We are well positioned to capitalise on further opportunities in our core business as well as internationally and across our menswear range. We are excited about the significant growth opportunities ahead as we look to realise our ambition to be the leading plus-size retailer in the UK," he said.
