Retail247 launches ‘Accelerate Programme’ for emerging retailers
Software as a service (SaaS) provider Retail247 has announced the launch of a new Accelerate Programme, an implementation template which offers a quick start to emerging retailers – giving them the supportive framework "to scale efficiently and effectively".
It will also give emerging retailers access to the same sophisticated technology that longer established retailers use, with manageable costs.
Martin Schofield, CEO of Retail247, said: "The concept of centralised and curated product data is applicable to all, however, less established retailers do not necessarily need the full configurability that Origin - a product information management (PIM) solution - has to offer.
"It can be more important to take on board best practice and this is why we have created the Accelerate deployment model.
"The programme is a pre-configured fast track deployment approach that means that we can deliver business benefit faster whilst still leaving the option of taking more complex and configured capability in future phases. It’s great to be able to offer our solutions to a wider range of retailers."
One of Retail247’s newest clients is sleepwear and loungewear brand Piglet in a Bed, providing the business with the tools and technologies it needs to succeed in today’s competitive market.
Axel Stelk, Co-founder and CFO of Piglet in Bed, said: "Implementation was a very smooth process. We kicked off by doing a process mapping exercise in which Retail247 reviewed all of our existing processes.
"The team then demonstrated how Origin would fit alongside our current systems by saving time and making processes more effective.
"Subsequently, we had weekly calls in which the team updated us on their progress and asked us any questions. We always felt safe in the knowledge that Retail247 knew exactly what they were doing."
