Rent the Runway (RTR), the luxury fashion rental service, has launched an Amazon Fashion storefront to sell a curated selection of its pre-loved pieces, as well as a selection of its ‘Design Collective’ apparel.

RTR’s collection of pre-loved merchandise includes hundreds of styles from a selection of over 35 brands. It includes casualwear, workwear, date night apparel, and seasonal basics such as sweaters, tops, coats, and denim.

Jenn Hyman, Rent the Runway Co-Founder and CEO, commented: "Collaborating with Amazon Fashion brings Rent the Runway incredible brand awareness.

"We believe strategic relationships like this can ignite a new engine of growth for our business. They also showcase demand for our products beyond our community and allow more customers to experience exclusive data-driven fashion from our top design partners."

The new Amazon Fashion storefront aims to give customers an affordable and sustainable way to refresh and expand their wardrobes.

In addition to pre-loved garments, the company will introduce an exclusive selection of merchandise from its Design Collective, exclusively to Amazon Fashion and renttherunway.com. Through the Design Collective, RTR gives top design talent an opportunity to create new limited-edition collections informed by its community of customers.

Muge Erdirik Dogan, President of Amazon Fashion, added: “At Amazon Fashion, we continually expand our assortment through strategic relationships with brands to inspire and delight our customers... Rent the Runway’s collection continues to grow our offering in pre-loved and designer fashion.”

Customers can now shop Rent the Runway’s dedicated brand store on Amazon. What's more, Amazon Prime members can take advantage of free shipping and returns.

Rent the Runway plans to cut approximately 24% of its corporate employees in a new restructuring plan to reduce costs, streamline its organisational structure and drive operational efficiencies.
