Reiss has unveiled an enhanced e-commerce site, featuring a range of customer service upgrades from extended cut-offs for next day deliveries to instant in-store refunds for online orders, following its transition to the Next Total platform.

The new-look site remains true to the Reiss aesthetic and houses the brand's complete range of menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, as well as brand updates and campaigns.

A series of upgrades have been introduced in response to customer lifestyles, such as: cut-off for next day delivery extended to 11pm; improved stock availability thanks to new store fulfilment technology; next day delivery charge reduced to £5; delivery points extended from 50 to 600 nationwide; immediate refunds in-store for online orders; new sustainable packaging; and extended customer service hours up to 11pm. A new iOS app is coming soon.

For international customers there will be tailored local content and payment options, as well as local language sites. Currently trading with international websites in the US, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland and Hong Kong, Reiss will be adding a local site in the Netherlands, and implementing an upgraded international site that will operate in 60 markets.

CEO Christos Angelides said of the move: "We are pleased to offer our customers an improved shopping experience with a new look to the website and upgraded services. The cut-off time for next-day delivery will move from 7 pm to 11 pm, and click-and-collect locations have expanded from 50 to 600 points. Customers will also enjoy increased stock availability and choice.”

The Reiss e-commerce site has been contracted to the Next Total Platform following Next's acquisition of a 25% in Reiss last year. Next acquired the stake from existing shareholders in March of last year in a deal that valued the business at £200m. Next has an option to buy a further 26% of the business, taking its stake to 51%. The option falls away after July of this year.

Next's Total Platform offers client brands a complete suite of online services, providing website, warehousing, distribution and contact centre, along with retail till systems and distribution network and a host of other services. Next says the aim of Total Platform is to "allow clients to grow their business without the capital costs, operational risks and management time associated with developing increasingly complex and expensive infrastructure."
