Reiss launches dedicated golf collection

British fashion brand and retailer Reiss has just launched a dedicated golf collection, called Reiss Golf, in reaction to customers already wearing its clothing while playing.

Engineered for the movement and performance requirements of golf, the collection comes in a colour palette of neutrals, soft whites and classic black.

Designs take hints from Tiger Woods’ course style, with the turtleneck – a house signature – introduced as an alternative to a traditional polo collar.

Tapered silhouettes and modern touches meet typical sportswear detailing such as colour-blocking, quilted panelling and the mixing of fabrics and texture.

The fabrications prioritise stretch, comfort and lightness, ensuring minimal friction when playing. For freedom of movement and breathability, the collection utilises stretch Merino yarns across the knitwear.

Additionally, top and mid-layer pieces and trousers come in stretch materials with sweat and water-resistant qualities, and there’s quick dry fabrics in case the heavens open mid game.

In case the weather gets too bad, the slick looks and elegant styling will work just as well for the “nineteenth hole”.

The collection has "Reiss Golf" emblazoned alongside the Reiss bloom logo, embroidered or rubberised. There’s a mirror play with the letter "R", created to resemble a flower in bloom.

Prices for the new collection range from £70 to £185, and it’s now available in-stores and at Reiss.com.

Luxury men's etailer Mr Porter has also today launched a dedicated golf collection as part of its in-house brand Mr P.
