Reiss launches childrenswear for the first time

18 October 2021

In this the retailer’s 50th anniversary year, Reiss is launching its first ever childrenswear collection on 20 October, 2021, under the title of "Tailored for Modern Children".

The line has been created by the same in-house team, under the same aesthetic philosophy and with the same approach to design, quality, and detail seen in the grown-up ranges.

It features instantly recognisable Reiss house signatures from the adult ranges, such as the tailored overcoat, suede jacket, refined knitwear and leisurewear. Launching with 140 styles across boys and girls aged 4-9 for AW21, that will extend up to age 12 for SS22.

Reiss Womenswear Director, Una Joyce, said: “This is the first time Reiss has designed for children, and we listened to our customers and the children around us to help create this collection.”

Menswear Director, Alex Field, added: “We learned that, just as grown-ups, children want a modern, effortless wardrobe. We then designed each piece to look and feel quintessentially Reiss.”

Stretch jeans, puffer jackets and T-shirts also anchor the collection, which will be available on the Reiss website from this Wednesday, as well as at select partners including Selfridges, John Lewis, Next and Nordstrom in the US.

Prices start at £12 for a cotton T-shirt, dresses are from £50, and coats go from £80 up to £358 for a shearling aviator jacket.
